Dinner

Tonight's dinner is Hog Slop over rice...I know what you must be thinking... Hog Slop???? This is my moms last minute put something together quick using what she had in her fridge meal...I grew up on this meal...side note definitely upped my water intake...

2 lbs ground beef browned with
1 medium onion diced
4-5 class cloves of garlic
Dash of salt and pepper
Layer 2 cans of diced or stewed tomatoes
Sliced carrots then generous amount of cabbage layer... Cook till cabbage is cooked then serve over rice..

Lunch

Bowl of steamed rice, roasted seaweed and kimchi...a staple dish in Korea...one of my favorite meals which I have quite the often...simple is the key!

Day 7 - starting the day off right


Starting the day with a healthy fruit and almond milk smoothie. Great energy for my workout.
Snack after workout was a handful of frosted mini wheats cereal.
Lunch was the perfect time for leftovers. I used a whole grain pita, heated up the honey beer chicken, then filled the pita up with chicken, lettuce and fresh red pepper.
Dinner wasn't as successful as we were celebrating our nephews birthday at Valentino's buffet. What I noticed is that I paid attention to what I was eating. It wasn't just mindless shoveling like sometimes happens at a buffet. 

Day 7 Lunch: (Nov 17)


Today's lunch is basil & garlic tomato sauce marinated chicken breast with sea salted white sweet potatoes. Miss PiperPants even had seconds today!

Day 7 - Hectic

It is so easy to get off track when life happens! I am two days off from posting and I can tell when life tends to get a little busy, I start to struggle in certain areas. Trust me, my eating habits are solid but keep up on work, family and all of the above catches up. So my submission for tonight is from this weekend starting Saturday and through tonight! Make your health and managing stress a priority. It's easy to fall back into bad habits when "busy" happens! Good night, Contiuned good health and success!

Delicious rice, chicken and sauce.

Day 7: November 16

Yes, this lunch is exactly the same as last nights dinner. Sigh. Living alone makes for too many leftovers.
